Work, commute, dinner, sleep—and somehow you’re supposed to squeeze a workout in there too? If getting fitter keeps slipping down your to-do list, you’re certainly not the only one. The good news is that getting started doesn’t have to mean an expensive membership or giving up your entire weekend. The deal? Dubai has free community runs, beach workouts, dance classes, cycling meet-ups and gym trials that make it easier to find something you actually enjoy. There are evening sessions for after work, weekend options for a slower start and welcoming groups where you can turn up without already knowing everyone. You don’t need to fill your calendar. Pick one session that fits your week, invite someone who’s been saying “we really should get moving” and give it a go. We’ve arranged the options by day to make that first plan a little easier.
